Remote Printing
What is Remote Printing?
The Remote Printing feature allows you to send print jobs from one station to another.
This is helpful if you have more than one station, but your printers are only connected to one machine.
If you have not configured the Client Agent yet, please follow the instructions in the article linked below
How to enable Remote Printing
Please follow these instructions on the machine that has the printers connected.
To access your settings, click the hamburger menu bar in the upper left-hand corner of your Home Page(pictured below). Be sure you are logged in with a user who is able to make settings changes.
Then click Settings.
Next, click Setup within the Client Agent section.
In Setup, click Existing.
Choose your school name from the School drop down, and the name of your Client Agent within Client Agent Hosts.
Enable the Show Advanced Settings option
Turn on Allow Remote Access.
Append the words “Remote Printing” to the end of the Client Agent name at the top.
Finally, click on Apply Changes.
Now that Remote Printing is enabled, you’ll need to assign the printers that are connected to the host machine. To do this, please choose your printer from the list below and follow the instructions from the remote station.
