Visitor Badge Health

This is an overview of the Visitor Badge Health Feature in the Admin Panel. It is critical to monitor the health of your badges. This feature allows you to assess the status of each badge quickly and easily.

Admin Panel Sign-In

First, go to web.centegix.com and log in.

Then, go to the top right corner of the screen and click on the three horizontal lines.

Finally, click on Admin Panel.

Once in the Admin Panel go to the "Visitor Badge Health" page.

Assessing the Health of the Visitor Badges

We recommend your site's designated Badge Manager check the health of badges 1-2 times a week. Badges that are not in a healthy status should not be assigned to visitors checking in. Assigning unhealthy badges can result in them not appearing on the live map.

When you go to check the health of your visitor badges, there are different statuses you might see; healthy, badge not seen recently, and low-battery. Below is an explanation of what each of those statuses means.

BADGES ARE GOOD

The battery level is good and the last status check was within the last 7 days.

BADGES NEED MONITORING

This status occurs when the status has not been updated in over 7 days. Badge has not been checked, nor was a critical issue detected.

If these badges are on site, but are not seen by the network, please do not use them for visitor check-ins and contact support to replace.

BADGES NEED TO BE REPLACED

Replace - Low Battery - The battery is low. Replace the badge as soon as possible.

Critical, Replace Immediately - Replace as soon as possible.

If you require a quote for additional badges, need existing badges replaced, or have any questions please contact support@centegix.com.
