User Activity Report
This article details the User Activity report, located in the Reports tab of the District Manager.
What is the User Activity Report?
The User Activity Report allows administrators to review user activity across all sites from one central location. It is updated every 60 seconds.
What is logged in the report?
The report only logs School Manager activity, including the following.
- Actions performed, including:
- Updates (edits to a badge setting)
- Creations (new badges added)
- Removals (students deleted from the Student list)
- Views (who viewed an Activity Report)
- Who performed the action
- The date/time the action took place
- Account Numbers
- Raw data
Important Note: The User Activity report will not log actions that have no effect (i.e., actions that yield errors and are unsuccessful).
View the Report
- Open District Manager.
- Click Reports in the right-hand navigation menu.
- View the basic report on the first page.
- For more details on the logs, click Details in the far right column under Actions.
- Click Previous Event Log to view the previous change associated with the setting.
- For update-type logs, the differences will be displayed in the box at the bottom. This displays a log that compares the previous value to the new updated value.
- To turn this off, click Hide Diff at the top of the page.
- Click Show Log to display an event log with the updated value in the context of the raw object data.
Search/Find Specific Logs
- Use the search bar in the top right to find specific logs.
- Search by any column value on the page.
- It will return fully and partially matched text.
Export the Report
- Click Export in the top right.
- Click download in the green box when the CSV file is ready.
- Note: If you run a search before exporting, only the queried items will be exported, not the full report.
